MEETING INFORMATION

Our next chapter meeting will be: "Sustainable Separation Solutions" as presented by Zurn/Green Turtle.  The presentation is qualified for 0.1 ASPE CEU and 0.1 NYSPE CEU.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday November 17th at noon at Chef's Restaurant in Buffalo. $20 lunch to all current ASPE Buffalo-Niagara Chapter members. Not a chapter member? We'll help you register so you don't miss out. $40 for non-ASPE Buffalo-Niagara Chapter members. Our chapter has the banquet (back) room at Chef's reserved for our meetings.  We're growing and we want to make sure everyone gets a good seat.  Please RSVP to [email protected] if attending.  RSVP'ing helps give us the heads up if we need to pivot the venue to accommodate everyone.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • Evaluate key design differences between gravity and hydromechanical interceptors to
    optimize performance and application fit.

    • Apply current sizing methodologies and code requirements to ensure compliant and accurate
    interceptor selection.

    • Assess how interceptor design supports environmental protection & regulatory compliance,
    supporting broader project sustainability goals.

    • Analyze how design, materials, and installation considerations impact long-term performance
    and lifecycle costs.

    • Leverage monitoring and alarm technologies to improve maintenance practices, reduce pump
frequency, and lower total cost of ownership.
